Will the technician move my furniture for me?2018-01-01T19:51:10+00:00

As a courtesy, our Technicians will move lighter furniture such as your end tables, coffee tables, and most chairs. We do not typically move larger items such as big screen televisions, pianos, or sensitive stereo equipment. If you would like us to move any other large furniture, please let us know when you schedule your appointment. It is important that you temporarily remove all breakable items from the furniture that you would like moved and discuss all moves with your technician when they arrive.

Please note that your service may only require one technician working alone and he may not be able to move larger pieces. Moving furniture is not included in all service packages, so please discuss any furniture moving needs when you book your appointment.

We can clean your leather furniture and leather upholstery in your car, boat, and RV. Leather needs regular attention to retain its moisture and softness. We use gentle, yet professional grade conditioners that will provide immediate relief to your leathers, keeping them looking and feeling great for a long time.

Yes, we can! We recommend that you clean your upholstery yearly, more often on high traffic pieces. We use powerful hot water extraction, just like we use for your carpets.

We recommend a neutral tile cleaner. Talk with your Technician about floor after care options.

How will you clean my tile?2018-01-01T20:12:19+00:00

We use the same steam/pressure system that we use to clean your carpets along with a high pressure rotary tool with dual rotating jets. We use specific tile and grout cleaners that strip away the waxy build up, and remove the dirt that has embedded into your tile’s grout lines. We can also provide a protective coating to your tile after cleaning to prolong the job we’ve just done. Speak to your technician about the options that we have.

Our goal is to always provide 100% customer satisfaction with a money back guarantee on each job. Our business grows by satisfied customers who tell their family and friends about us. If for some reason you are not satisfied with the work performed by our technician we ask that you let us know as soon as possible. In order to honor our money back guarantee we must be notified within 7 days. We will do our utmost to make the job right. Read about our Platinum Rule.

You can expect a follow up call within 48 hours of your service to ask you a few quick questions concerning your experience with us. We appreciate any suggestions on how we can improve our service.

We always appreciate at least a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment. We will happily re-schedule a time that is more convenient. Same-day cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. 727-394-2942

When can I walk on carpet after it has been cleaned?2018-01-01T20:16:39+00:00

When possible, it is ideal that you avoid walking on the carpet until it is completely dry. High traffic may prolong drying time. However, we understand your life is busy, and so if you must walk on your carpets/tile, please use caution as floors WILL BE slippery, especially in transition areas. We can leave hospital grade “booties” to maintain the integrity of your newly cleaned surfaces.

Is it true that cleaning my carpet shortens the life of the carpet and makes it soil faster?2018-01-01T20:45:10+00:00

There are certain cleaning methods which leave a dirt-attracting residue, and there are some cleaning agents that will cause re-soiling. Our Technicians use a no residue method of cleaning and a commercial cleaning agent specifically designed to prevent re-soiling.

Is there an additional fee if my carpet is heavily soiled?2018-01-01T20:45:52+00:00

We would never charge you extra without discussing it with you first. We are unable to determine, when booking the appointment, which spots and heavy wear areas will require a rotary scrubber to remove deep dirt and spots to your satisfaction. The technician will assess the surface upon arrival and will make their best recommendations.

How long will it take for my carpets to dry?2018-01-01T20:56:58+00:00

The flow of air and control of humidity is what dries your carpets so it can take anywhere from 4-6 hours. We do not over-wet your carpets. Our process does not penetrate the backing of the carpet. We recommend keeping the air condition running to continually remove the humidity from the air, and in turn, help your items dry faster.

If there is no AC available, then we will do what we can to leave you with optimal airflow. As a courtesy, we can leave you with several pairs of “booties” so you and other household members can walk on your still damp floors when needed and not worry about ruining your newly cleaned surfaces. Please let us know if you would like your complimentary booties.

Do you recommend protection for my carpets, tile or upholstery?2018-01-01T21:02:50+00:00

Our Certified Technician will be happy to address questions about protecting your flooring and upholstery. We have trusted products that we use for a diverse variety of flooring and furniture materials. Your technician will make the best recommendations for your surfaces.

Yes, we can. We use professional odor removers and counteractants. Each situation and odor is different and must be treated accordingly. Our Technician will assess the situation and make their best recommendations to you.

Can the technician remove all of the spots?2018-03-30T01:32:33+00:00

We can usually remove most spots, depending on what they are. We cannot remove stains or wear patterns on the carpet. Please let our technician know about any spots which may require special attention. The more information you can give the technician about the source of the spot, the better we will be able to remove it. (Stain and Pet issues are not included in the basic package price).

Some spots will wick back up. Please notify us within 7 days if this happens.

We always try our best to arrive on time, but sometimes things happen beyond our control, so please allow a 30 minute window before and after your appointment time. Your technician has been instructed to call you when they are on their way, or if they are running late.

Of Course! Once your appointment has been scheduled, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. We ask that you please review it to make sure all information is correct. If there are any changes in information, please let us know as soon as possible at 727-639-8035

What should I do to prepare for the arrival of the technician?2018-01-01T19:49:10+00:00

Please vacuum your floors, pick up scraps of paper or larger items including decorative pieces. Furniture that blocks access to the floors should be removed unless you have built that service into your appointment in advance.

If you don’t have a chance to vacuum before your Inside Homes Technician arrives, we will vacuum for a small additional fee based on the size of your project.
